1st Quarter 2018 House prices
In the first quarter of 2018:
on a rolling four-quarter basis, the mix-adjusted average price of dwellings sold during the year
ending Q1 2018 was 3% higher when compared with the year ending Q4 2017
the quarterly seasonally adjusted mix-adjusted average price in Q1 2018 was 6% higher than in
the previous quarter
on an annual basis the mix-adjusted average price in Q1 2018 was 12% higher than the
corresponding quarter in 2017 (Q1 2017)
most individual property types recorded higher mean property prices in Q1 2018 compared
with Q4 2017, with 1-bedroom flats the only property type to record a decrease in mean price
the turnover of properties was lower than both the previous quarter and the corresponding
quarter of 2017
overall housing market activity, on a rolling four-quarter basis, was 2% higher than in the
previous quarter
on a rolling four-quarter basis, rental prices in Jersey were essentially unchanged during the
year ending Q1 2018 when compared with the year ending Q4 2017
